Laser Skin Treatments
Whats The Difference Between IPL & Fractional Laser Resurfacing?
Fractional Laser and IPL treatments go after many of the same hyperpigmentation and skin texture issues. IPL uses intense full-spectrum light to induce your skin’s healing process, hence the name IPL or Intense Pulsed Light. Fractional Laser treatments use an actual laser to renew your skin. IPL is very good at treating skin tone issues like skin redness associated with rosacea, broken vessels, acne, and pigmentation issues from sun damage. Fractional Laser Resurfacing works well on skin texture issues, especially uneven skin texture due to scarring. If that wasn’t enough, lasers also stimulate collagen production resulting in a younger overall appearance. IPL treatments are minimally invasive and patients can generally get back to their regular daily routine afterward. Fractional Laser Procedures are a bit more invasive, leaving you with somewhere between 7 and 10 days of recovery time.
